Lesson 4
The most important point which, probably only a few people understand is the connection between music theory and reading music.
Music consists of logical, understandable and frequently used elements. If you can quickly read the meaning of these elements, then you can quickly reproduce them on the instrument. For example, if an experienced musician sees a triad or chord, he does not read it in separate notes, but sees it as a whole, separate element.
You need to learn how to see notes in groups – vertical and horizontal.
Vertical groups of notes are various arpeggios, sequences, scales.
The horizontal groups of notes are the various intervals and chords.
This skill will help you to see the music a few bars ahead, even memorize the small sections.
Because the music becomes longer and more difficult, there is some information for you that can make your education easier
