Lesson 3
One of the obstacles to reading music is often not knowing the notes that are located on additional lines. They are called ledger lines. They are the little lines that go above or below the staff.
It is very important to fix this problem.
After that, proceed to mastering reading notes on the instrument. The first skill to focus on is the ability to play without looking at the instrument.
If you have problem with this, try to play with your eyes closed or in the dark. So learn how to play notes on your instrument without peeking.
If you look at the notes and then look at your instrument to play the note you read, you won’t be able to read the notes in tempo.
This problem also needs to be fixed.
