Some people think that there are a lot of notes and it kind of drives them into a stupor. In fact, everything is much simpler. If you look at the most common notes that fit into the range of the human voice, there are only 14 of them. That’s two octaves. That is only 14 characters must be remembered at the first stage. At the beginning this will be enough. You need to memorize 14 notes, learn how to quickly name and read them.

For beginners it is better to choose familiar, short and not complicated works for reading. This will help you get used to the notes, to the process of reading, and make your first lessons less stressful and more enjoyable.

Do not forget to name by voice for each note before you play.
